D2N2 recognises that client expectations are changing and as a result business advisory services are moving towards a coaching / mentoring model, rather than solely providing information and advice. As a result, they wished to develop the skills of Business Advisors and assure the organisation that they had the capability to work with clients in this way by enabling them to gain the Level 3 Award in Enterprise Mentoring qualification.

Excellence in Care Standard for Brackenley Care Home

A Harrogate home for vulnerable adults – bought by a local charity two years ago after it fell into financial difficulties – has been accredited with the prestigious award for Excellence in Care. Brackenley in Starbeck, which cares for 13 adults with learning difficulties, was acquired by the Harrogate Skills 4 Living Centre (HS4LC) after failed private sector ownership.  Some of HS4LC’s clients lived at Brackenley and they faced an uncertain future.
